Drs Caren and Urman are proud to be attending cardiologists in the Cedars-Sinai Smidt Heart Institute ranked # 1 in California, Best in the West and in the top 3 cardiac programs in the country for 2021 – 22 by US News & World Report. In addition, Cedars-Sinai Smidt Heart Institute is ranked among the top 10 specialized hospitals in the world for cardiology and cardiac surgery by Newsweek.
Since 2013, the Cedars-Sinai Smidt Heart Institute has been ranked in the top 10 heart programs in the nation by US News & World Report and # 1 in the Western US, California and Los Angeles since 2011. More adult heart transplants are performed at Cedars-Sinai annually than any other institution worldwide and for several years running it remains one of the top 3 cardiac programs in America along with the Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Clinic.
In addition, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is once again on the prestigious Best Hospitals Honor Roll for 2021 – 2022 as one of the top 10 hospitals in America (#8 for 2018-19 and 2019-20, #7 for 2021-21 and #6 for 2021-22).
