Since 2013, the Cedars-Sinai Smidt Heart Institute has been ranked among the Top 10 Heart Programs in the nation by US News & World Report and best in the Western US, California and Los Angeles since 2011. More adult heart transplants are performed at Cedars-Sinai annually than any other institution worldwide and for several years running it remains one of the top 3 cardiac programs in America along with Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Clinic. In addition, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is once again on the prestigious Best Hospitals Honor Roll for 2020-2021 as one of the top 10 hospitals in America (# 8 for 2018-19 and 2019-20, #7 for 2020-21)
