Dr Nayeri Named A 2023 Castle Connolly Top Doctor Rising Star

We are proud that our very own, Cedars-Sinai Smidt Heart Institute cardiologist, Dr. Arash Nayeri has been selected by his peers as an outstanding practicing cardiologist in Los Angeles. Doctors cannot pay to be selected as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor. Their peer-to-peer nominations and rigorous research process ensure only the most qualified physicians are included. While many other sites may make the same claim, patients and physicians across the country trust that Castle Connolly always stands by this promise.
Drs Caren and Urman brought Dr. Arash Nayeri into their practice knowing that he was a special young cardiologist and caring physician. Since joining our office mid 2022, more and more patients have found confidence and comfort in his broad knowledge base and reassuring bedside manner. Now, his senior colleagues and the local medical community have recognized these same qualities as well. Dr. Nayeri was also named a Super Doctors® Rising Star for 2024.

Urman, MD, FACC, FASE, FAHA have both been named by their peers to the Super Doctors® List in Los Angeles Magazine and in a separate publication distributed with the Los Angeles Times (most recently in January 2024, the 16th straight year for Dr. Urman). In addition, Dr. Urman was named one of Los Angeles Magazine’s Top Doctors every year since they first came out with their list in 2018. Dr. Mark Urman and Dr. Jeffrey Caren both have been named U.S. News & World Report Top Doctors. Dr. Jeffrey Caren and Dr. Mark Urman both are found in Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors (2011-2024 for Dr. Urman).
Drs. Caren, Nayeri and Urman are proud to be Attending Cardiologists in the # 1 Cardiology and Heart Surgery Program in Los Angeles and California (since 2011); # 1 Heart Program in not only California but in all of The Western US (also since 2011); Top 2 Cardiac Program in all of the US for 2023 – 2024 (and Top 3 with the Cleveland Clinic and Mayo Clinic since 2018)
